OFRRC – Jeff’s Dream RR (N)

 PHILADELPHIA DIVISION MEMBER

Division member Jeff Tucker and a bunch of his friends from church decided to build an N scale club layout in a room in the back of Jeff’s lumber yard. They call themselves the Old Farts Railroad Club. The layout is freelanced, but they like to run lots of PRR equipment. Control is DCC by MRC.

N Scale, 21’ x 18’, MRC Prodigy DCC, also some DC in the steel mill and the RDC. Railroad is located in the back room of Beatty Lumber & Millwork in Drexel Hill, PA. Construction began in 2008. Jeff Tucker was instrumental in the making of this RR. Jeff passed away from cancer in 2016 hence the name Jeff’s Dream. His fellow layout members keep the railroad and his memories alive opening the railroad every Saturday to the public.
