Sadly Chris Ruhl passed away in the summer of 2019, but he leaves behind his layout as his legacy and a testament to his modeling skill. All track, including switches, is handlaid code 83 and 70 on pine roadbed and ballasted. Structures are a combination of kits, bashed, and scratch. Layout is 7.5 x 12′ with an 8 x 1.5′ yard tail, constructed in 8 sections that bolt together.
Control is NCE DCC, operating PRR-style signals, and home-made CTC box. This layout must be removed from its current location as the house must be sold. Also for sale is rolling stock and locos including a fair amount of brass, and books. If interested, please respond in comments which will be forwarded to Chris’s wife.
