On Saturday, June 9, 2018 the Philadelphia Division will meet at the Philadelphia First Church of the Brethren in Wyndmoor, PA.

To the left is a photo of the Southampton Station originally located on the long-abandoned Newtown Branch of the Reading Company.  This structure, built in 1982 and slated for restoration, is located at the corner of Street Road and Second Street Pike, a few blocks from our meeting place.

On Saturday morning, September 9, 2017 the Philadelphia Division held its meet at a new venue, the West Whiteland Township Building in Exton, Pennsylvania.  The following is the meet report from Clerk Mark Wallace:

The end of summer marks an uptick in model railroading activity that included our recent September Meet held at a new venue, the West Whiteland Township building in Exton, PA. Located just south of the route 100 & 30 intersection, the building fronts the street that followed the old roadbed of the Reading’s Chester Valley Branch.

June Meet Recap

 

The outbound Conshohocken Station building located on what was the Schuylkill Branch of the PRR.  This structure is still standing a short distance north of the Schuylkill River Trail, and currently being used as a coffee shop.

On Saturday morning, June 10, 2017 the Philadelphia Division held its meet at a new venue, the Plymouth Fire Company #1 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
